IIFT Exam (Indian institute of Foreign Trade) is conducted every year for candidates seeking admission to MBA (IB) programme. Through the exam, candidates can get into IIFT campuses in New Delhi and Kolkata. The IIFT 2017 exam was held on November 27, 2017 (Sunday). The last date to submit the IIFT 2017 Form for registration was September 05, 2016. The last date to receive IIFT Admit Card was November 15, 2016.

The Application Process for IIFT 2017 commenced from July 15, 2016. Candidates need to complete various steps in order to accomplish IIFT 2017 Application Process such as register for the exam, pay the application fees and upload important documents.

Candidates are advised to go through the detailed schedule for IIFT 2017 Application Process so that they do not miss out on any important deadline. Since, the admission for Foreign Nationals and NRI is based on GMAT scores, the IIFT 2017 Application deadlines for them is slightly different. The expected schedule regarding Online and Offline application process are mentioned below.

Candidates have to pay the stipulated application fee in order to complete the application procedure of IIFT 2017. Application Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates registering through offline mode have to pay the fee at the time of buying the prospectus (which will contain the application form).
For candidates filling the online IIFT 2017 Application Form, there are two modes of payment: Online gateway and Demand Draft.
The application fee to be paid through IIFT Counter/ Post/ Online for IIFT 2016 exam is as follows:

The fee paid by the candidate is inclusive of application screening and Entrance Test Fee. Candidates will not pay any other fee while submitting the form through online or offline mode.
The Application Process for IIFT 2017 can be completed through two modes: Online and Offline. For filling the IIFT 2017 Application Form in Offline mode, candidates have to buy the prospectus, fill the form and send to the Institute via post along with other requisite documents.

Candidates should remember that any incomplete applications from both Online and Offline modes will not be accepted by IIFT. Similarly, any application reaching after the last day of submission will also be rejected and no plea or application will be entertained in this regard.

The candidate has 3 choices to choose from for filling in the IIFT Application Process. For the Online mode, it’s important for the candidate to upload all the required documents. For the candidate filling in the Application Form through Offline Mode has to enclose the requisite documents along with the duly filled application form to complete the IIFT Application process. The candidates filling in the Application process through Post needs to follow few different steps mentioned in the following article.

To fill the application form of IIFT 2017 online, candidates should visit the official website: http://iiftadmissions.net.in/. The IIFT Application Form can becompleted simply in 4 Steps-Registration, payment of fees, filling the application form, printing the copy of application form. To fill the Application form of IIFT 2017 in offline mode, candidates should visit the institute to buy the prospectus against cash payment or demand draft. Candidates have to duly fill the application form which will be attached to prospectus.
After filling the IIFT 2017 application form, candidates are required to send the application form in an envelope along with important documents (mentioned above) to Institute by September 5, 2016.

The applications must reach the institute by first week of September, 2016. Applications submitted or reached any date after the deadline will not be accepted.
IIFT will not be responsible if the application doesn’t reach the institute on time due to postal delay or any other problem. Hence, candidates are advised to send the form well in advance before the closing date of submission to avoid any delay.
The amount paid for postal service is not included in the application fees and neither will it be refunded by IIFT.
IIFT also provides admission to Foreign Nationals and NRI candidates. The admission of candidates under this category is based on their GMAT exam score only.
The GMAT score/ result after January 1, 2015 only is accepted and it should reach the institute by third week of February, 2017.
Applications under Self-financing Scheme for foreign nationals must be forwarded through Ministry of Development, Government of India and should be received by the Institute latest by last week of March, 2017. These candidates should also send a copy of their GMAT Score along with the application form.
