IBPS RRB 2016 Exam Pattern

IBPS RRB Exam is conducted in the month of November, 2016. However, from this year IBPS has made some changes in the Exam Pattern of IBPS RRB 2016. According to new IBPS RRB Exam Pattern, the exam is conducted in 2 phases i.e. Preliminary and Mains Examination. Candidates appearing for Office Assistant are shortlisted for provisional allotment on the basis of marks obtained in IBPS RRB 2016 Mains Examination.

IBPS RRB Online examination is followed by IBPS RRB 2016 Common Interview for the post of Officer Scale I, Officers Scale II and Officers Scale III. It is very important for candidates to go through the IBPS RRB Exam Pattern of the Preliminary exam, Mains exam, Interview and Single Online Examination. IBPS RRB Exam Pattern gives an insight of the total number of questions, time duration, total marks, and marking scheme of IBPS RRB Recruitment.

IBPS RRB 2016 Exam Pattern Highlights

  • IBPS RRB Exam is conducted only in online mode.
  • Only objective type questions are asked in IBPS RRB Exam.
  • IBPS RRB Exam is divided into various stages which include IBPS RRBPreliminary Exam, IBPS RRBMains Exam, IBPS RRBSingle Online Examination andIBPS RRB Interview.
  • IBPS RRB 2016 Exam Pattern differs for Scale I, II, III and Office Assistant posts.
  • Medium of IBPS RRB Exam is bilingual. It is conducted in both Hindi and English Languages.
  • The IBPS RRB Test is segregated into a certain number of sections which have a certain number of questions. Candidates have to attempt to complete IBPS RRB Exam in the fixed time duration.
  • There is a provision of negative marking for the wrong marked answers.

IBPS RRB 2016 Time Duration

A candidate must take note of time while appearing in IBPS RRB Exam. Time plays a very crucial role in such an exam. A candidate must calculate and divide the total duration of the exam with Number of Questions that are asked in it. One must calculate the approximate time value he/she can devote to each question so that he/she can complete the whole test in the given duration. There is no sectional time limit in IBPS RRB Exam.

Each question in the test carries 1 mark. For every wrong marked answer, 0.25 marks would be deducted for wrong marked answer. The test would be bilingual.
