IBPS PO 2017 Exam Centres

 

The exam centers for IBPS PO 2017 are spread across India. While a candidate is filling the registration form for the exam, they are required to mention their choice of IBPS PO Exam Centres. IBPS PO 2017 Prelims and Mains are scheduled in Obtober and November respectively. The Application process for IBPS Exam will commence in May/ June 2017.

Allotment of IBPS PO 2017 Exam Center

The exam centers for IBPS PO 2017 would be allocated on the basis of candidate’s preference in the application performance. Candidate are required to select the “Centre of Examination”, “Centre Code”, “State/UT which the Centre of Examination Belongs” and “State/UT Code” at the time of filling the application form.

IBPS PO would finalize the exam center based on the response, administrative feasibility and some other factors. The exam conducting authority reserves the final right to allocate any other center from the one selected by the candidate in the application form.

The finally allotted exam center would be mentioned in the IBPS PO Admit Card


IBPS PO Admit Card

The IBPS PO Admit Card would be available through the official mode only. IBPS might also send the admit card on the registered email Id. The information related to release of IBPS PO Admit Card would be intimated on the registered mobile number.

Candidates can download the admit card with the help of their Registration No. and Password or Date of Birth. The Registration Number and Password are created at the time of IBPS PO Registration Process and are also mailed on the registered email Id.

Candidates should carefully check the details such as Name of Candidate, Roll Number, Application Number, Name of Post/Designation, Venue and Address of the Exam Center, etc. In case of any discrepancy, candidates should immediately contact the IBPS authorities via email at http://cgrs.ibps.in/.

IBPS PO Admit Card must be accompanied with valid id documents such as ID Proof, Aadhar Card, Driving license, Passport Sized Photograph, etc. on the day of examination. Candidates are required to carry the related documents or else they are not allowed to appear for the examination.

Exam Day Instructions for IBPS PO 2017

The exam day instructions for IBPS PO mentioned below for the convenience of all the candidates. All the candidates appearing for the test are advised to carefully follow the instructions. The candidates are advised to carefully check all the instructions before they appear for the online test. 

  • Candidates must carry and submit the required documents such as copy of the call letter, Xeroxed copy of a photo Id Proof bearing the same name as indicated in the online application form.
  • All the candidates should occupy only those systems which are allotted to them.
  • Any stationary item such as bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, etc. or communication device such as Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, etc. are not permitted inside the examination hall.
  • The face of the candidates should not be covered while appearing for the examination.
  • Login for the exam using the Registration ID and Password provided by IBPS.
  • All the general instructions are displayed on the screen. Candidates should carefully go through the instructions before they start answering the questions.
  • The rough paper would be provided at the exam center and candidates must hand it to the invigilator before leaving the examination hall.
  • Mark the correct options and then click on “Save & Next” to save the answer.
  • In case the candidates wants to review any answer then click on “Mark for Review & Next”.
  • Click on “Clear Response” button in case candidates have made any mistake in answering a question and they want to reset the question.
  • The questions marked with the following colours indicate:
  1. Green: It shows that the questions are answered
  2. Red: Candidate has visited but not answered the question
  3. White: Candidate has neither visited nor answered the question
  4. Violet: These questions are being marked for review by the candidates.
  • Candidates should not use keyboard at all during the examination and use only mouse for marking the answers.
  • The system would be automatically locked and all the answers would be submitted after the completion of allotted time limit.
