IBPS PO 2017 APPLICATION & REGISTRATION
NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
The Application Process for IBPS PO 2017 is set to commence from May/ June 2017. The whole process of form filling will be done through online mode only. This is the first step for the exam, which needs to be done carefully. The status of the registration process can be checked by visiting the official website of IBPS- ibps.in. Candidates need to fill the required information in the registration form. But before filling the form, candidates should make sure that they satisfy the eligibility standards set by the conducting body i.e. IBPS.

The official notification for IBPS PO 2017 is yet to be released by IBPS. But, the exam dates for IBPS Prelims and Main is released. Candidates can check the IBPS Exam dates to know about the events for the exam:

There are some basic set of standards that IBPS, conducting body of IBPS PO has specified. It is important for a candidate to clear the same. They are set on the basis of Academics, Age and Citizenship. If at any stage a candidate is unable to satisfy the criteria then he or she will be exempted from the whole process.
There are a varying number of IBPS PO Vacancies depending upon the category of a candidate. The total number of vacancies currently available is 8822. Out of the total number of seats, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) have 1338 vacancies.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST) have 665 vacancies. For Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates 2319 vacancies are available. The highest number of vacancies are for the unreserved category candidates i.e. 4500 vacancies.
The IBPS PO Online application form will be available on the IBPS official website. Interested candidates have to initially register as a new user to apply for the exam. The registration is followed by uploading photograph and signature. The next step is to enter detailed information about the choice of IBPS PO 2017 Exam Center and choice of recruitment to desired participating banks.
The succeeding step includes the preview of the complete form. Candidate has to carry out the fee payment to complete the IBPS PO 2017 Application Process. Each step is elaborated below:
Step 1: Registration
A candidate has to visit the Official Website of IBPS to get themselves registered. For that they are required to click on the tab ‘CWE PO/MT”. Candidates are then required to give the required details. Post saving the details the provisional registration ID and password is generated and displayed on the screen.
Note: The registration ID and password is unique and must not be told to anyone.
Step 2: Uploading Photograph and Signature
The next step after completing the IBPS PO Online Registration is to upload the photograph and signature as per the specifications. A candidate has to re-login into their account to upload their scanned photograph and signature.
Step 3: Filling Details
Post submission of the images the candidate is redirected to the details page where he/she has to enter the necessary details. The details asked are based on the candidate’s basic information- Name, nationality, mobile number; Qualifications and Experiences. Also, candidate has to enter the choice of IBPS PO Exam center with correct state code for both preliminary and main examination. After filling the details, click on ‘I agree’ to declare that the information entered in the form is authentic and true.
Post verification of all the details, click on Submit. The details cannot be changed after submission so check carefully. Preview the details and double tick on the details entered in the IBPS PO Online Application before submission.
Step 4: Payment of Application Fee
After final submission of IBPS PO Online Application, the candidates have to submit the IBPS PO Application fee. Candidate has to select a payment mode- Debit Card, Credit Card, IMPS, Net banking, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets. After entering and verifying the details, candidate has tp click on Pay. Hence, the registration for IBPS PO exam will be final.
Step 5: Confirmation
This is the last step of the IBPS PO Online Application Process. After the final submission and payment, an additional page of IBPS PO Online Application is displayed. Enter the requisite details by following the instructions mentioned. An e-receipt is generated after the successful payment of fee. Print the e-receipt and IBPS PO Online Application Form displayed on the screen.
Note: In case of unsuccessful transaction or non-payment of application fee, the candidate must re-login using the provisional number and password to repay the fee by carrying out the process in step 4 mentioned above.
Candidates are required to upload the photograph and signature in the JPEG format during the IBPS PO Online Registration. The candidates must check that the photograph and signature must be clear as IBPS PO Online Application with unclear images will be rejected. The documents related to the mode chosen for fee payment must also be kept ready for the IBPS PO Online Registration.
The candidate must provide a valid and personal e-mail ID which must be kept active throughout the rounds of Common Recruitment Process. The IBPS Admit Card will be sent on the e-mail ID provided. The candidate is required to keep the following documents ready while applying online for IBPS PO exam:

Candidates can remit the application fee for the IBPS PO exam only through online mode. The candidates can choose any gateway among Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro) or Credit Card or Internet banking or IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets. The candidates are required to print a copy of the e-receipt received after paying the fee online. The bank will charge an extra amount or tax on the online transaction which is to be paid by the candidate.
The Application fee is different for the unreserved category and reserved category candidates. The table below gives the application fee for different categories:

The information entered in the IBPS PO Online Application can be edited only prior to the final submission. The candidates get a chance to preview the IBPS PO Online Application after filling the details for reviewing purpose. The candidates must review and check if there is any wrong entry in the IBPS PO Application Form. The candidate can correct the errors by logging in using the provisional number and password.
The candidates must check and verify each detail before final submission. The visually impaired candidates must ensure that the information entered in the IBPS PO Online Application is true and correct by getting it checked properly by the person entering the details. The basic information entered during the IBPS PO Online Registration cannot be changed at any step of the IBPS PO Application Process.
The details asked in IBPS PO Online Application must be entered carefully as they cannot be modified after final submission of the IBPS PO 2017 Application Form. The table below mentions the details of the IBPS PO Online Application Form:
