DU LLB 2017 PATTERN & SYLLABUS
STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
The Delhi University Bachelor of Law entrance test is held every year to admit eligible students for its LLB and Masters of Law (LLM) program by conducted by Faculty of Law, Delhi University. The DU LLB entrance this year is to be held on June 19 - June 23. While the application forms are filled and submitted in the online mode, the exam is held in the offline mode across various centres of the University of Delhi.

Admission to this illustrious college is made on the merit as marks scored in the entrance test. Last year for the 2611 seats up for admission 13,267 applications were received. As the figures show, this a highly competitive and challenging exam. The results for the DU LLB are expected to be announced on June 21, 2017 with the issue merit list also in the same week, though this is still tentative. The counselling for admission is expected to begin from the third week of July, 2017.

The DU LLB entrance is a 2 hour long paper with a total of 175 objective type multiple choice questions to be answered. The total marks of the paper is 700. Every question in the entrance test carries 4 marks. For every correct answer, the candidate is rewarded 4 marks while for every wrong answer there is a negative marking of 1 mark. No marks are awarded or deducted for unanswered questions. The language of the entrance test is English only.
It has been observed that usually 15 minutes go in the filling up of details in the OMR sheet leaving the candidate with 105 minutes to answer the questions, 35 seconds per questions to be precise. The break up of the total 175 questions is explained below:
