DSAT 2018 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

DSAT 2018 is scheduled to be held in five shifts on the last Saturday and Sunday of April 2018 and in the third week of May 2018. DSAT 2018 Rank card is expected to be out by the last week of May 2018. DSU has not announced DSAT 2018 Exam Pattern yet. As per trend, DSAT 2018 is expected to be conducted in an online as well as offline mode.

  • DSAT 2018 comprises Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • DSAT 2018 will be of a total duration of 120 minutes.
  • The question paper will be printed in the English Language.
  • One mark will be awarded for each right answer while no mark will be deducted from candidate’s score for each wrong answer.

Dayananda Sagar University(DSU), Bangalore conducts Dayananda Sagar Admission Test(DSAT) every year for the admission to the various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by Dayananda University. DSAT 2018 application process will start from the second week of March 2018 and will end one week before respective DSAT 2018 Exam dates.

DSAT 2018 Exam Pattern in Detail

DSAT 2018 will be conducted in an online as well as offline mode. DSAT 2018 question paper will be of Objective Type having multiple options(four). The exam paper will be published in the English language. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. One mark will be awarded for each right answer while no mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. To appear in DSAT 2018 Counselling, it is mandatory for every candidate to qualify DSAT 2018.

Question paper pattern will vary with the course opted for. There is no fixed question paper pattern for DSAT 2018.

  • For Undergraduate Courses, the questions paper will be mainly based on Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English.
  • For Post Graduate Courses, the syllabus will be the corresponding undergraduate course which the candidate has completed in their past.
  • There will be an additional section which will test General Knowledge, Aptitude and Reasoning of candidates in various fields.

For Post Graduate Courses, the syllabus will be the corresponding undergraduate course which the candidate has completed in their past. And, there will be an additional section which will test candidates’ General Knowledge, Aptitude and Reasoning in various fields.

DSAT 2018 Important Instructions

These are some important instructions for DSAT that candidates should follow.

  • A candidate will not be allowed to appear at the examination centre other than that allotted to him/her in the Admit Card.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre/hall after the commencement of examination.
  • After the invigilator has verified DSAT 2018 Admit Card of the candidate, he must sign on the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator and mention the hall ticket number also.
  • The candidate should follow the instructions given by the invigilators in the examination room
  • Candidates should not indulge in any argument with the invigilators or other staff involved in the examination duty at the examination centre.
  • The candidate should neither talk to each other nor discuss any matter during the examination.
  • The candidate should not disturb other candidates in the examination room and maintain complete silence during the examination.
  • Candidates are not permitted to carry any electronic device and study material at examination hall like (Mobile, Bluetooth, Pager, watch, test series, books, model papers, etc.)
  • The decision of Dayananda Sagar University shall be final in all matters.
