How to Check DMRC Recruitment Result

DMRC Result would be declared on the official website. To qualify the exam successfully for the further rounds of DMRC selection process, the candidates are required to secure the minimum cut-off marks. Follow the steps given below to download the DMRC 2017 results:

DMRC Selection Process

DMRC Selection Process comprises various stages. The stages of DMRC selection process is defined below:

  1. DMRC selection process for Assistant Manager
  • Written Test (2 papers)
  • Group Discussion
  • Personal Interview followed by Medical Examination

  • Written Test (2 papers)
  • Personal Interview followed by Medical Examination

Group Discussion- Generally a group of 5-6 candidates is selected in a group and they are given a topic for the discussion. GD is held to check the candidate’s ability for the particular post.

Personal Interview – A candidate may have to face a panel of 4 or more interviewers.The questions asked in the interview range from questions about Personal life, Educational Qualification, Extra-curricular activities, work experience, outlook on contemporary issues etc.


DMRC 2017 Exam Dates

Candidates have to apply online by filling the DMRC Recruitment Form. The Online Registration for DMRC 2017 begins from September 16, 2016 and shuts on October 15, 2016. However, the candidates can submit the application fee till October 18, 2016.

DMRC Recruitment 2017 Eligibility

All the aspirants should make sure that they fulfill the DMRC Recruitment Eligibility Criteria before filling up the application forms. Eligibility criteria differs according to the recruitment of the post. The verification of the eligibility criteria would take place at the time DMRC selection process.

Candidate must be an Indian national to be eligible to appear for the written exam and further rounds of DMRC recruitment. Candidates belonging to foreign nationalities are not eligible to appear for DMRC exam.

Age Criteria

According to the various posts, there are different age limit that the candidate must fulfill. It is advised to check the details of this criterion depending on the post the candidate wishes to apply for.

The minimum age required for candidates who apply for executive posts i.e. Assistant Manager (Electrical, S&T, Civil, Operations, HR and Finance) is 18 years. The upper age limit for the same post is 28 years as per July 01, 2016.

The candidates who wish to apply for Non-Executive posts offered by DMRC must fulfill the minimum and maximum age requirement for their desired posts. Non-Executive posts include Station Controller/ Train Operator, Customer Relations Assistant, Jr. Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical), Account Assistant and Maintainer. The age limit for Non-Executive posts is 18 to 28 years.

All the candidates must possess the necessary educational qualification before they apply for the examination DMRC Recruitment Application Form. The educational qualification required for getting recruited in DMRCRecruitment is mentioned below-

How to fill DMRC Recruitment Application Form

The mode of application varies according to the post the candidate is applying. DMRC Application Form is available online on the official website. Candidates applying for the following posts, have to apply through online mode only.

Online Mode

Candidate has to click on Career Tab on the official website of DMRC. Open the recruitment notification and fill the details asked to apply. Candidate has to then upload a scanned image of candidate’s photograph and signature. Upload required certificates in PDF format. For making payment, download the e-challan and make payment in cash at nearest SBI Branch. 


DMRC Application Fee

Candidates applying for the following posts are required to pay the application fee of INR 400. However, reserved category candidates (SC/ST/PwD) have to pay INR 150 as the DMRC application fee. Candidates should note that the DMRC application fee is non-refundable. Hence, candidates are suggested to verify their eligibility for the post before paying the DMRC application fee.

DMRC application fee can be paid only by generating the challan while applying for the DMRC application process.

How to Download DMRC Recruitment Admit Card

Admit Card for DMRC Recruitment to Noida Metro is now available on the official website of DMRC. Candidates should note that DMRC Admit card should be downloaded only in color format. DMRC Recruitment admit card will not be sent by post, it should be downloaded from the official website only.

DMRC Recruitment 2017 Exam Pattern

DMRC conducts written examination that consists of 2 Papers- paper 1 and paper 2. Both the papers are of objective type.Questions in both of the paper is of MCQs format. Each question will carry 4 options and out of which only 1 is the correct choice. DMRC has provision of negative marking, 1/3 of the marks allotted to the questions will be deducted, if wrong choice is marked.


Paper 1 comprises following sections- General Awareness, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Decision Making / Problem Solving and Knowledge of the Discipline/Trade. Paper 2 comprises only General Section and it is conducted to judge the knowledge of candidate in English language.

Paper 1 consists of 120 questions and this paper has to be completed in 90 minutes. While paper 2 consists of 60 questions and 45 minutes is given to complete the paper.
