CUSAT 2018 Admit Card

CUSAT CAT 2018 Admit Card is an essential document required to take the entrance examination of CUSAT (Cochin University of Science and Technology). Admit Cards will be released starting from April 15, 2018. It will be available until the day of examination.

  • CUSAT CAT 2018 Admit Card will be released online only. No Email or reminder is sent to any candidate.
  • Registered candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official website, www.cusat.nic.in
  • To download CUSAT 2018 Admit Card, one has to log in using application number and date of birth.
  • CUSAT CAT 2018 Admit Card is an important document. All candidates are required to carry it to the examination center on the day of the exam.
  • Admit Card will contain test center detail, course name and date of examination.
  • Along with the admit card, candidates have to present a proof of identity to gain entry to the examination hall.

CUSAT CAT 2018 Application Form will be available from January 2018. Candidates must first check their eligibility to apply for the exam. Admit card is also required for the admission process and other formalities after the examination.

How to Download CUSAT CAT 2018 Admit Card?

CUSAT CAT 2018 Admit Card will be released on the university’s website. The steps to be followed by a candidate to get the admit card are given here:

  • Go to the official university’s website, www.cusat.nic.in
  • On the home page, click on the notification regarding CUSAT CAT 2018 Admit Card. The link redirects to a login page which asks for the student’s details.
  • Enter the application or registration number and date of birth.
  • Press the submit button, you will be logged in.
  • Once logged in, candidate dashboard appears on the screen.
  • Click on the admit card tab
  • CUSAT 2018 Admit Card will be on the screen.
  • Download the admit card and take a print out of the same on an A4 size paper.
  • Retain multiple copies of the admit card for future safety.

Be sure to reach the exam center with this printout and the identification document. No one will be allowed to take the test without these documents under any kind of circumstances.

After downloading the admit card from the website, check the details printed on it. CUSAT CAT 2018 Admit Card will contain important information about exam, timings and centers. It also contains candidate’s personal details.

Discrepancy in Admit Card

What if the photograph and signature on CUSAT CAT 2018 Admit Card are blurred?

In this case, candidates have to paste a new photograph and sign the document again in the given space. The document after the new photo and signature must be attested by a gazetted officer of the state or central government.


Documents Required with CUSAT CAT 2018 Admit Card

CUSAT CAT 2018 Admit Card must be necessarily carried by a candidate to enter the examination center. The admit card will be used to authenticate the identity of the candidate. Along with the admit card, candidates have to carry a photocopy of a proof of identity.
The POI document can be any one of these:

  • Voter ID
  • PAN Card
  • Aadhar Card
  • Driving License
  • Ration Card

The invigilator verifies the candidate’s identity by matching the details of the admit card with the presented document.

NOTE: If a candidate does not have a valid ID, he/she can download the ‘Identity Certificate’ from CUSAT website. He/She has to fill it, paste a photograph in the given space and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer. It will be accepted as a Proof of Identity at the examination center.

Exam Day Instructions

Instructions to be followed are written on the back of the admit card. Some quick tips for the exam day:

  • The exam starts at the time given on the provisional admit card. Candidate should reach the exam venue 90 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam.
  • CUSAT CAT 2018 is an online examination, thus it will start at the exact time.
  • A computer system is allotted to each candidate.
  • There will be a login screen in front of you. Contact the invigilator if you can’t see the login screen.
  • 10 minutes before the test time, you will be prompted to log in.
  • Enter your Roll No. and date of birth.
  • Successful log in attempt will take you to a screen with this information:
  1. Personal details: Check all your details carefully. Click ‘I agree’ to continue to the test.
  2. Exam Instructions: Read all the information given about the test.
  3. Click on the button ‘I am ready to begin’.
  • The questions are of objective type, one option is correct out of the four given. Candidates have to choose one with a mouse click.
  • Click ‘Save and next’ to save the marked response and move to the next question.
  • You can come back to the question by clicking ‘Mark for review’.
  • To clear the marked answer, click ‘Clear response’.
  • If the student is not comfortable, the font size can be increased or decreased by asking the invigilator.
  • The remaining time is shown on the screen.
  • To go and read the instructions at any point of time, click on ‘Instructions’.
  • Calculators, Pagers, Cell phones and other electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the examination hall.
  • Candidates are not allowed to leave the hall before the test’s end time.
  • Candidate should inform the invigilator immediately in case of any technical problem.
