CUCET 2017 APPLICATION & REGISTRATION
NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
CUCET Application Form is available in online mode at www.cucet2017.co.in. The last date to submit online form is April 14, 2017. Application fee to fill CUCET Application Form is INR 800/- for general candidates and INR 400/- for reserved quota candidates. The fee can be remitted either by online or offline mode.
Candidates should carefully fill all the required details in CUCET Application Form. The form can be partially filled after completing registration later by logging in. Duly completing the CUCET Registration, candidates will receive a confirmation message. In case of offline payment, the message will be received after reconciliation from bank within 2-3 days. CUCET Application form can be filled only in online mode. No other mode of application is acceptable. The online registration begins from March 20, 2017 till April 14, 2017. CUCET exam is scheduled in offline mode at allotted center on May 17 - 18, 2017. The other important exam dates for CUCET 2017 are tabulated below:

Before applying to CUCET 2017, candidates should fulfill the following pre-requisites:
CUCET Application Process comprises 8 steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of CUCET at www.cucet2017.co.in. Click on ‘Apply’ button for filling the CUCET application form.
Step 2: The following screenshot depicts the course choices: UG, PG and Research Programmes. Candidates can click on any of the link as per their choices.
Step 3: After clicking the appropriate link from New Registration, candidate will be moved to fill CUCET Application Form. They have to enter the following details to complete the CUCET Registration:
Step 4: After generating Application ID, complete the CUCET Application Form by providing Personal Details, Details of Qualifying Exam Address of Correspondence and Exam Center.
Step 5: After proceeding, a candidate has to upload photograph and signature with required specifications
The size of the photograph should be in between 10 kb to 100 kb. While the size of the signature should be in between 5 kb to 10 kb. The file type should be in .jpg/.jpeg only.
Enter the verification code and proceed to next step.
Step 6: At this step, candidate can register for maximum of the 3 courses in a particular selected program from each university. Enter university code and choice of courses. Click Save & Proceed to move on to next stage.
Stage 7: This is the pre-final step of CUCET Application Form. Candidates can edit the form (if any changes required) and go for payment processing. The application fee can be paid either via online mode or offline mode.
Stage 8: After verifying all the details, proceed to fee payment. Choose anyone of the methods: Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card and E-Challan.
After completing the CUCET Application Form, candidates can view the submitted CUCET Application Form and take its print out. They can also add more courses if they wish to. It should be noted that, on addition of every 3 courses, additional application fee has to be paid.
Verify the details, final submit the application form and save the form for future correspondence.
Candidate should keep a scanned image of photograph and signature as per the required specifications set by CUCET conducting body. Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch).
Procedure for Uploading the Photograph and Signature
In case the face in the photograph or signature is unclear the candidate’s application may be rejected. They are advised to take a printout of their system generated online application forms after registering. In case the photograph or signature is unclear, after editing his/her application should upload his photograph or signature again.
CUCET aspiring candidates should pay the application fee by any of the convenient mode- online or offline mode. Candidates who want to appear in CUCET 2017 should pay the CUCET Application Fee in either online or offline mode. The application fee is INR 800 for general candidates and INR 400 for SC/ST candidates. PwD candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

For payment through online/debit/card, no extra charges are to be paid by the candidates. Add on facility for extra courses is available by paying equivalent application fee.

It should be noted that, once the application fee is paid, CUCET online form cannot be editted. After completing the payment, candidates can also add additional courses of their choice by paying an additional amount od same fee.
Hall Ticket is a very important document as the candidates need to carry it to exam hall on the day of exam. A failure to do the same would result in candidate not being allowed to appear for the examination. CUCET 2017 Admit Card will be available from May 05, 2017 onwards from the official website of CUCET 2017. It can be accessed by entering details like application number, roll number and password.
CUCET hall ticket contains various details such as candidate’s name, photograph of candidate, signature of the candidate, thumb impression of the candidate, roll number of the candidate, test date and time, address of the center etc. It also contains instruction for candidates which should be kept in mind by them during the examination.
CUCET 2017 will be held at 76 exam centers across the country. Candidates who have applied for CUCET will be assigned an exam center where they will have to appear on the examination day. They should reach the exam center at least 30 minutes in advance. Applicants can choose exam centers while filling the CUCET application form.
Candidates can find allotted exam center printed on the CUCET 2017 admit card. They are also advised to comply with the instruction given at the back of admit card.
