CTET 2017 Result

CTET Result 2017 is expected to be declared in May 2017 at ctet.nic.in. Candidates can check their CTET result by entering the Roll No. and Date of Birth. They must secure at least 60% marks in CTET to obtain the CTET Certificate.

CTET 2017 paper evaluation will be purely computer based and no request for re-evaluation will be entertained. The certificate of marks will hold information such as roll number, the name of candidate, category and subject wise marks, etc.

CTET Marks Certificate 2017 is valid for the period of next 7 years for all the categories. The exam is held twice every year for the recruitment of teachers for primary level and elementary level.

CTET Result 2017 for February session is expected to be declared on May 20, 2017. CTET result will only be released online at ctet.nic.in, candidates cannot check it via any other medium. Steps to check CTET Result 2017

CTET Result can be checked online by proceeding with the following steps:

  • Visit official website at ctet.nic.in
  • Click, ’Results of Central Teacher Eligibility Test-Feb 2017’
  • Enter Roll Number and Date of Birth
  • Check the CTET Result and save it for the future correspondence

CTET Result: Qualifying Marks & Evaluation Criteria

Candidates securing 60% marks in CTET are considered eligible to obtain the CTET Certificate. Merely qualifying in the test does not ensure the recruitment of the candidate. 

CTET is an objective type test and therefore the OMR answer sheets are evaluated with extreme care by a computerised evaluation system. Candidates should carefully mark the answers in the OMR sheet. It is very important to note that no request for re-evaluation of the OMR sheet will be entertained.

CTET Answer Key 2017

Candidates can predict their CTET Result by viewing the Answer Key. CTET Answer Key 2017 is published on the official website- ctet.nic.in after the conduct of exam. The Answer Key is generated in 4 different sets of both papers on the official website.

Candidate must refer to the official answer keys to get an idea of their performance in CTET. They can check CTET Cut off to confirm the qualification.


CTET Marks Certificate 2017

Candidates can obtain their CTET Marks Certificate from ctet.nic.in. CTET Certificate holds the following details:

  • The mark sheet will hold candidate’s roll number at the top. Next, will be the particulars that were registered during the CTET Application Process such as candidate’s name, mother’s name, father’s name and category.
  • After the above-mentioned particulars, subject names and marks obtained by candidate will be mentioned.

Re-issuance of CTET Certificate

In case, CTET Certificate is lost or tempered, candidates can apply for re- issuance of marks certificate. For this, they are required to pay a fee through Demand Draft (DD) in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education. The DD must be drawn on any nationalized bank and it must be payable at Delhi. Candidate can get the format for applying for duplicate marks certificate from the official website of CTET.

Validity of CTET 2017 Certificate

Candidates who have already qualified CTET can re-appear for CTET to improve their scores, there is no boundation on number of attempts. CTET Certificate is valid for a period of 7 years for all categories after the declaration of CTET Result.

CTET Certificate Applicability

  • Candidate with a CTET certificate can apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UT’s of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi.
  • CTET Certificate is also applicable to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.
  • Apart from CTET, state governed institutions/ schools can also consider CTET mark certificate to recruit the teachers.

CTET Result Trends 2017

Around 8 lakh candidates appeared for CTET when it was first conducted in 2011. Only 9% of the candidates qualified who appeared for CTET that year. Since then, Board hasn’t seen any significant improvement. In the year 2012 barely 1% of the appeared candidates could qualify CTET.
