CTET 2017 Result

CTET 2017 Result – CBSE will declare the CTET 2017 Result in the month of May/June 2017. Result will be declared only for those candidates who will qualify the exam. Candidates can check the result by entering their roll number and Date of Birth. The Candidate must secure at least 60% marks in CTET exam to qualify to obtain the CTET Certificate.

CTET 2017 papers Evaluation will be computer based and no request for revaluation will be entertained. The certificate of marks will hold information such as roll number, name of the candidate, category, subject wise marks, etc.

Marks certificate for CTET 2017 will be valid for the next seven years for all the categories. The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government and schools under the administrative control of UT’s of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi.

CTET Exam will be held twice a year one in February and other in September. It is conducted for the recruitment of teachers at primary level 1st – 5th class and for elementary level 6th – 8th class. 

CTET Result 2017

CTET Result 2017 will be declare in the month of May/June 2017. Candidate must regularly check the official website to obtain his/her result as the schedule given for the announcement of the result is tentative.

Steps to check CTET 2017 Result

CTET 2017 Result which are due to be announced in the second week of November, 2017 (tentatively) can be checked by proceeding with the following steps:

  • To check his / her result candidate must visit official website.
  • Next click the link that says, ’Results of Central Teacher Eligibility Test-Feb 2017’.
  • Candidate will be navigated to the login page.
  • Candidate must enter his / her roll number provided to him / her during the registration or from the admit card for CTET 2017.

Qualifying Marks

Candidate appearing for CTET 2017 will qualify only after he / she secures at least 60% marks in the examination that will be conducted in Month of February 2017.

Candidate must note that the school management can give concessions to person belonging to reserved categories such as SC / ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc. according to the reservation policy followed by their institution.

Mere qualifying in the CTET 2017 examination will not ensure the recruitment as it is not the only eligibility criteria that is checked, however, CTET 2017 Examination will certainly play a vital role in the recruitment process.

Evaluation criteria

As it is already known that CTET 2017 will be multiple choice objective type question mode, therefore the OMR answer sheets will be evaluated with extreme care and are repeatedly scrutinized by a computerized evaluation system. Candidates must very carefully mark the answers in the OMR sheet for the computer machine to access the answer filled in by the candidate in OMR sheet. It is very important to note that no request for revaluation of the OMR sheet will be entertained.


CTET Answer Key 2017

CTET 2017 answer key will be uploaded on the official website for CTET examination few weeks after the conduction of the CTET exam. Though unofficial answer keys are available online but candidate may obtain official answer key for both the papers i.e. Paper I and Paper II.

Candidate must refer to the official answer keys to get an idea of their performance. He / she must check the answer key against the question paper set or code. The official CTET Answer Key will be released for different sets on the official website. The CTET 2017 Result can be predicted through the CTET Answer Key. The candidates can check the CTET Cut off to confirm the qualification.

CTET Marks Certificate 2017

Candidate may obtain his / her marks certificate from the official website for CTET examination. Marks certificate provided to the candidate after recording his / her roll number will be as follows:

  • The mark sheet will hold candidate’s roll number at the top. Next will be the particulars that were registered during the registration process such as candidate’s name, mother’s name, father’s name and category.
  • After the above-mentioned particulars, subject names and marks obtained by candidate will be mentioned.

Re-issuance of Marks Certificate

A candidate can apply for re- issuance of marks certificate. For this candidate must pay the prescribed fee by the way of demand draft in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education. The Demand Draft must be drawn on any nationalized bank and it must be payable at Delhi. Candidate can get the format for applying for duplicate marks certificate from the official website of CTET 2017 examination.

Validity of CTET 2017 Certificate

A candidate can attempt for CTET 2017 examination to acquire a CTET certificate. A person who has already qualified CTET may also appear for it again to improve his / her score. CTET 2017 marks certificate will be considered valid for appointment for seven years from the date of declaration of the CTET Result.

CTET Certificate Applicability

  • Candidate with a CTET certificate can apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UT’s of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi.
  • CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.
  • Apart from CTET, state governed institutions / schools can also consider CTET examination mark certificate to recruit the teachers.

CTET Result Trends 2017

Almost 8 lakh candidates appeared for CTET examination when it was first conducted in the year 2011. Only 9% of the candidates who appeared for CTET that year qualified and no improvement has been since then.

In the year 2012 barely 1% of the candidates appearing for CTET could qualify.
