CTET 2017 Application Form

CTET Application Form 2017 will be tentatively available from March 15, 2017, at ctet.nic.in. Candidates can apply for CTET in online mode only. The last date to apply for CTET 2017 is March 30, 2017.

Candidates can remit the Application fee for CTET through online and offline mode. Candidates claiming reservation are provided with the facility of fee concession. CTET Application Process is a 4-step process:

  • Filling the CTET Application Form 2017
  • Uploading the photograph and signature 
  • Paying Application Fee
  • Printing Confirmation Page

The application fee for General category is INR 600 for single paper & INR 1000 for both papers. For SC/ST/ PwD category candidates, it is INR 300 for single paper and INR 500 for both papers.


Documents for CTET Application Form 2017

Candidates must keep the following documents/ files ready before beginning to fill up the CTET Application Form:

  • Copy of Class 10th Certificate
  • Scanned images of latest photograph and signature to be uploaded, according to the following specifications:

  • If the candidate wants to pay the examination fee through Debit/ Credit Card, they should keep the card ready while submitting the CTET 2017 Application Form online. Candidates are also required to check the validity of the card beforehand.
  • If a candidate wants to pay the examination fee through e-challan, he/ she must download the e-challan after completing Part 2 of Registration Process online and then deposit the Fee in CTET Fee A/c at either Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
  • After the payment is confirmed by the Bank/ CTET, a confirmation page of CTET Application Form will be generated.

Candidates do not need to send the hard copy of the confirmation page to the CTET unit. They should retain the hard copy of the CTET 2017 Application form, and the e-challan (if the fee is paid by e-challan) for the subsequent stages of the CTET Selection process.


How to Apply for CTET 2017?

The candidates have to register for the CTET through an online CTET Application Process after satisfying CTET Eligibility. They have to undergo a registration and form filling process followed by uploading scanned images of photograph and signature. The uploading of documents is followed by fee payment and printing of confirmation page. The fee can be remitted in either online or offline. The steps to apply for CTET are as follows:

Step 1: Filling the Application Form

  • Visit CTET 2017 official website. 
  • Click on the link ‘Apply Online’.
  • Read the instructions carefully before filling the CTET Online Application Form.
  • Click on ‘Proceed to Apply Online’ on the bottom of the page, follow the instructions carefully and fill the CTET Application Form.
  • After providing all the required information, click on ‘Next’ or ‘Reset’ button. ‘Next’ button is to proceed to review the page and ‘Reset’ button is to reset all the fields of the CTET Application Form filled by the candidate.
  • Check all the particulars on the review page. If all the particulars are correct, click on ‘Final Submit’ else click on ‘Back’ button to change the details and then click on ‘Final Submit’ button on the review page. 

Step 2: Uploading of the Images

  • After the final submission, note down the registration number and proceed to Part 2 of the registration process.
  • In Part-2 of the registration process, upload the scanned images of latest photograph and signature in the CTET online application form according to the mentioned specification.

Step 3: Payment of the Application Fee

  • In Part-3 of the registration process, pay the examination fee through Debit/ Credit Card or through e-challan in the designated accounts of Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
  • If you choose to pay online through Debit Card, enter the Card Number, Validity and CVV Number. 
  • If you pay through Credit Card, enter the Card Number and PIN correctly
  • If you choose offline payment, download the copy of e-challan from the official website, fill the details given on the challan.
  • Post-filling the details, deposit the fee in cash at designated branches of Canara Bank or Syndicate Bank. Retain the student’s copy of the challan for future correspondence.

Step 4: Printing Confirmation Page

  • After the successful payment of exam fee, a confirmation page will be generated. Print the confirmation page to complete Part-4 of the CTET registration for future reference.

Note: Candidates should provide their valid Mobile No. and E-mail ID while filling their CTET online application so that the updates/ alerts related to CTET may be sent to the registered Mobile Number / E-mail ID.

Candidates are required to give the  details mentioned in the class 10th Board Certificate while filling the details in the CTET Application Form 2017. Theinformation must be authentic. Verify the information correctly before final submission of the CTET Online Form. Candidates are required to provide the following details in the CTET Application Form 2017 according to the instructions below:

How to Retrieve CTET Registration Number?

In case candidate forgets CTET registration number, it can be retrieved by clicking on ‘Forgot Registration Number?’ This will lead to a page where the candidate will be required to provide the following details: Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Category, Paper Applied and the Security Pin (Captcha). Click on Submit after mentioning all the required details. If these details are provided correctly, the registration number can be easily retrieved.
