CTET Admit Card 2017

CTET Admit Card 2017- CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) issues the CTET Admit Card to the eligible candidates who have filled the registration form on time. CTET Admit Card will be available at ctet .nic.in on or after April 25, 2017.

CBSE organizes the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) twice a year. Candidates interested in serving as a teacher in Government schools and KVs across India have to appear for CTET. The conducting body of the eligibility test has scheduled the exam in May 2017. The official notification is yet to be released by CBSE.


CTET Admit Card 2017

CTET Admit Card 2017 is an entrance ticket for a candidate to enter the examination hall. Candidates will be issued their Admit Card for the teacher eligibility exam by CBSE. CTET Admit Card will be available at ctet .nic.in on or after April 25, 2017. Following particulars are to be entered to access the CTET Admit Card:

  • Registration Number for CTET 2017
  • DOB (Date of Birth) as mentioned on the Application form.

How to Download CTET Admit Card?

The CTET Admit Card can be download after successfully submitting the Application Form. No hard copy will be provided by post. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to generate their CTET Admit Card:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of CTET- www.ctet.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link provided on the website to ‘Download the CTET Admit card’

Step 3: Enter the CTET Registration No. and Password. Also, enter the correct DOB in the other block in the format DD/MM/YY.

Step 4: Next, click on the ‘Submit’ button

Step 5: After submitting, CTET Admit Card 2017 is generated and appears on the screen

Step 6: Click on ‘Download’ button to save and download the CBSE CTET Admit Card.

Step 7: Now, take a print of the Admit Card for the future references.

Note: Candidates are informed that they need to carry the CTET Admit Card with a Photo ID proof to their Exam Center. 

CTET Admit Card 2017: Problems while Downloading the Document

CTET Admit Card is available for download via online mode only (visit ctet.nic.in). Hence, there is a possibility that some problem might occur while doing the same. The possible reasons for a problem to occur are as follows:

  • Speed of the Internet OR
  • A number of applicants trying to download the CTET Admit Card at the same time.

Therefore, if a candidate is not able to download their CTET Admit Card, immediately they should retry after a gap of 5 or 10 minutes. OR, one can try downloading it during the off-peak hours. While filling the details to download the CTET admit card, a candidate must ensure that the DOB is same as they have entered at the time of registration. Candidates can refer the CTET Application Form for the Date of Birth entered by them. The Date of Birth should be in DD/MM/YY format only.

In case, a confirmation page is not generated, candidate can approach the Assistant Secretary, CTET Unit, CBSE between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. from January 15, 2017 to January 25, 2017. They must produce the proof of the payment of CTET 2017 Fees either through Bank Challan or through Credit/ Debit Card for considering their candidature for CTET Exam.


How to Retrieve CTET Registration Number?

Registration number of a candidate is generated at the time of CTET 2017 Registration. After successful registration, it is automatically sent to the candidate’s email id as mentioned on the CTET Application Form. But in case, a candidate forgets their registration no., one can follow the given steps to retrieve the registration no.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of CTET 2017- www.ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: Click ‘Forgot Registration No.?’

Step 3: Fill in the information asked- Candidate’s Name, Mother’s name, Father’s name, DOB, Category, Name of the paper they have applied for and security pin

Step 4: To enter the security pin, one has to correctly re-write the numbers given in the box of security pin

Step 5: Click on the‘Submit’ button

Step 6: Registration No. is retrieved after submitting all the correct details. Now, save the same for future references.

Points to Remember

  • In case a candidate is unable to download the CTET Admit Card because of any issue, they can contact the official exam authority: CBSE.
  • The photograph on the Admit Card must be the latest one and clear.
  • Any mark made on the CTET Admit Card/  Hall Ticket/ is not acceptable.
  • Carry a valid photo id proof to the CTET Exam Center, along with the CTET Admit Card
  • Any candidate who fails to produce a valid CBSE CTET Admit Card is prohibited from entering the CTET Exam Center.
