CLAT 2017 EXAM CENTERS
NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
CLAT 2017 online exam is scheduled on May 14, 2017. The Common Law Admission Test this year, will be conducted by Chanakya National Law University, Patna (CNLU). CLAT 2017 Exam Centers will be allocated across 66 exam cities spread across different states of India. Candidates can indicate their choice of exam cities while filling the CLAT application form. They can opt for maximum 3 exam cities in order of preference during registration process. All the candidates are advised to choose nearby exam cities to avoid travelling for long distances.
Candidates while filling the CLAT Form 2017 needs to mention their Exam Centre choices. It is important to fill the choices carefully and wisely, to avoid any hurdles during the process.
The list of 66 exam cities are now released on the official website of CLAT. One can go through the following table to know about the centers. It is provisional as the number of exam cities may vary depending on the number of candidates appearing in the exam.

Note: Candidates will have to indicate their Preference of Exam Centers while filling-in online CLAT Application form on the official website. They have to mention the exam centers in the decreasing order of preference. They can choose a maximum of three exam centers. After choosing the exam centers, candidates will click on ‘Save & Continue’ to submit their preference and move to the next tab as indicated below. The CLAT Committee will try to ensure that candidates are allotted exam centers as per their preference during registration.
The candidate must carry anyone of the photo ID proof mentioned below for verifying identity, along with the Admit Card. The list is as following:

The candidates who are applying under Specially Abled Persons (SAP) category will be allowed 40 minutes extra to complete the exam. The category of disability would include blindness, low vision, locomotor disability, mental retardation, hearing impairment, etc. They are required to provide a certificate of disability, issued by a competent authority.
The facility of scribe is also applicable for PwD candidates. Applicants who require scribe during exam should indicate the same during online registration. They must also upload the photocopies of the relevant documents (attested by Gazetted officer). The list of documents are mentioned below:

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) was formed as “Non-Statutory Body” through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for assisting students who are looking to get into top National Law Universities. The Common Law Aptitude Test (CLAT) is a national level test which is organized by 18 National Law Universities (NLUs) for offering admission to all the aspirants looking to grab a seat in UG/PG programs of these NLUs. The conducting body is every year formed by one of the National Law Universities. The CLAT score is also used by some of the top private law universities in India for providing admission to their own courses.
