STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST

CET Delhi Polytechnic

Department of Training and Technical Education (DTTE) will conduct CET Delhi 2017 for admission to Delhi Polytechnic Institutions. The application procedure will start on March 20, 2017 and will end on April 20, 2017. The application form will be available on DTTE official website.

DTTE conducts 5 different tests under CET for different courses. Eligibility condition for each course is different. The examination will be conducted in June 2017. The exam will consist of 150 objective type questions and will be conducted online.

Latest: Last Date to Apply for CET Delhi is April 20, 2017.

Result for Delhi Polytechnic CET will be declared in the third week of June. After the announcement of results, the counselling process will start. It is necessary for qualified candidates to participate in the counselling round for seat allotment.

DTTE CET is conducted every year for admission to various diploma courses in polytechnics (engineering & non-engineering) offered by several institutes / colleges across Delhi. It is also organized for providing admissions through lateral entry in full-time diploma engineering programmes. Through this entrance exam, 85 % seats are filled by Delhi candidates and 15 % for outside Delhi candidates.

CET Delhi Polytechnic 2017 Eligibility Criteria

DTTE conducts 5 different tests under CET for different programmes. Eligibility condition for each course is different. Aspirants can check their eligibility for the test for which they will be appearing. Only Indian / sponsored candidates will be eligible for admission. Detail of eligibility criteria is given below:

CET Delhi Polytechnic 2017 Application Process

The procedure of online registration will commence expectedly in the month of March 2017. Candidate should ensure that they are eligible before filling up the online application form. A separate form should be filled for each test (1, 2, 3, 4, 5). The application process for CET Delhi Polytechnic consists of the following steps:

  1. Visit the official website of CET.
  2. Search for the link of Delhi CET Advertisement 2017.
  3. Read the information bulletin carefully and fill the form accordingly.
  4. Fill personal details, fee detail, guardian detail, educational qualification detail etc.
  5. Upload photo, signature, and left hand thumb impression on the application form.
  6. Click on submit after checking the filled form.
  7. Take a printout of the same for future reference.

Application fee

All the interested applicants have to pay INR 400/- as application fee and have to pay additional charges. The application fee can be paid through Credit/Debit card or Net Banking or through Challan in any branch of Corporation Bank of India. Candidates must remember that fee will not be regressed.


CET Delhi Polytechnic 2017 Admit Card

Admit card will be released in online mode tentatively in the month of May 2017. Candidates can download the admit card by visiting the official website of CET Delhi Polytechnic. DTTE will not send physical copy of the admit card through post. The admit card will contain details like roll number, name of the candidate, exam center, exam date & day, etc.


CET Delhi Polytechnic 2017 Exam Pattern

DTTE conducts 5 different tests under CET for different programmes. The examination will be conducted in June 2017. The exam will consist of 150 objective type questions. For Pharmacy, there will be 210 questions, out of which students have to answer only 150 questions. The duration of exam will be 2 ½ hours. CET Delhi Polytechnic 2017 Result

The authority will release the Delhi CET 2017 Result in the last week of June 2017. You can check the results by entering the roll number and date of birth. For being eligible for admission, a general candidate must secure a minimum of 10 % marks, and reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PH) must secure minimum of 5% marks in CET 2017. The candidate belonging to reserved category, who qualifies on the basis of relaxation in cut off percentage, i.e. 5% will not be eligible for admission against general category seats.

The result of the CET Delhi 2017 will be displayed on the official website. Follow the procedure furnished below for obtaining your result:

  3. Enter the required credentials i.e. Roll number and other necessary details.

CET Delhi Polytechnic 2017 Cut off

After the CET Delhi 2017 Result declaration, cut off of Delhi Polytechnic 2017 will be available in the online mode. Cutoff score is the minimum score which candidates have to obtain in order to pass the entrance exam & eligible for admission. The cutoff list depends upon the difficulty level of the question paper, number of students appear in the entrance exam, the number of students passed the exam & availability of seats.
