BCECE 2017 Application Form, Application fee, Form Correction

The BCECE 2017 Application Form will be available from February 01, 2017 (Tentative). The candidates can access the BCECE Application Form online on the official website of BCECE Board. The candidates have to remit the BCECE Applicaton Fee either through e-challan or online through Deebit card/credit card/net banking. The fee varies with the subject groups- PCB/PCM or PCMB and with the candidates’ category.

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is a state level entrance exam, conducted in 2 phases. The candidates have to qualify both the phases consecutively to partivcipate in the BCECE Counselling. The common entrance test is organized by the Bihar government for admissions into undergraduates in various degree level courses. Bihar Board offers admissions in B.Tech, B. Arch, B. Pharma, MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Occupational Therapy, Agriculture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Biotechnology and Private Pilot License courses in both Government and Private colleges of Bihar through BCECE 2017.

Guidelines for BCECE Application Form

Candidates are required to follow the important guidelines for filling the application form of BCECE 2017-

  1. BCECE 2017 Application Form should be filled in English language only. Capital letters must be used in filling the form except in declaration and in signature.
  2. Photograph pasted on both the Forms- A & B of the application form of BCECE must be same. Photographs can be either black-white or colored but it must be of high contrast. Size of the photograph should be 3.5cm X 4.5cm. Applicant should click his photograph from the photo-studio, so that he can receive receipt of the photograph which can be attached along with the application form. Candidate must hold a placard while clicking the photograph which should mention Candidate’s Name and Date of the photograph taken. Using any digital photograph or the photo clicked by any other media is prohibited. Photograph should not be clicked before January 01, 2017. Ears of the candidates must be clearly visible.
  3. Candidate’s name should be correctly written as per the name indicted in the school record.
  4. Candidate should mention permanent address along with the PIN Code.
  5. For reservation, Bihar CET 2017 candidates must mention correctly their reserved category. If they fail to do so, then they will be treated from general category.
  6. If any discrepancy found in both the forms then details on Form A will be treated as final.
  7. Kindly mention your father’s designation.
  8. Date of Birth of the candidate should be same as mentioned in class 10th mark sheet.
  9. Candidate should mention the exam center code according to their convenience.
  10. Applicants should self-attest and attach the Xerox copies of required documents such as caste certificate.
  11. Use thread to attach the required documents.

Steps to fill Application Form

The BCECE Application Form includes the personal and academic details of the candidate. The application form consists of 4 steps namely registration, fee payment mode, personal details and academic details. The links for different steps can be opened separately. The following are the details which the candidate has to fill in the the application form:

Step 1- Registration

It is a very first step to get registered for BCECE 2017. The given below image will give you a brief idea of how to register for the entrance exam. Candidate have to register with his valid email-ID and create a password. After successful registration, candidate will receive an email containing REGISTRATION NUMBER. After receiving the message, it is required to login and complete further processes. Your REGISTRATION NUMBER will be the USER NAME.

Step 2- Payment Details

Step 3- Personal Details

The personal details and contact details which are asked during the registration are entered automatically when the domain for personal details opens. Step 4- Educational Information

The candidate if qualifies the BCECE 2017 Eligibility Criteria then he/she must enter the qualifying marks in this section to confirm the eligibility. The minimum marks and percentage as per the eligibility of both class 10th and class 12th are required to be filled. So one must carefully check the eligibility before applying. The candidates who are appearing for the class 12th CBSE/I.SC or any equivalent examination have to mention the name of board only in the class 12th column. The succeeding steps after filling the details are uploading the images required and submission of the correctly verified form.

Bihar Government nominates seats according to its norms and rules for candidates belonging to the States or Union Territories where facilities of Engineering Studies are not available. Students for these seats will be nominated by the state government of the respective states. These candidates need not to appear in BCECE 2017.

BCECE 2017 Application Fees

BCECE Application Fee/ Examination Fee is the fee charged by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board 2017 for conducting BCECE 2017. Bihar CET 2017 application fees is different for the subject groups PCMB and PCM/PCB. Fees can be paid either through online gateway or by generating e-challan. The e-challan should be paid through Canara Bank. INR 60 will be charged as additional fees over the payment. BCECE Application Form Correction

Candidates who have successfully registered and applied for BCECE 2017 Application Form can only edit the Online Application Form within the due dates. Candidates who are willing to edit the online application form, have to Sign In through Account by entering Registration Number and Password. Candidates can edit the details on the application form, may change the uploaded photograph and signature. Online Application Forms can be edited from March 6, 2017 to March 11, 2017.


Dispatch BCECE 2017 Application Form

The print out of the online BCECE Application Form must be dispatched along with the enclosures by registered post/ speed post-

  1. Print out of both the filled application forms A and B after downloading the filled application forms.
  2. Paste the recent passport size photograph on the hard copy. The photograph of the candidate must be same as uploaded on the online application form.
  3. Provide your signature in the space provided on both the application forms. Candidate have to sign in both the languages- English and Hindi. Capital letters must not be used in signature.
  4. Write the same declaration as printed in the Form B. Don’t write declaration in capital letters.
  5. Attach the paid bank challan copy with the application form.
  6. Xerox copies of the required documents to be enclosed.
  7. Write over the envelope in bold letters, “Application for BCECE 2017” along with the subject- PCB/PCM/PCMB.
  8. The envelope size must be of 17 cm x 30 cm. Yellow color envelope must be used.
  9. Only 1 application form must be enclosed in single envelope.
  10. The envelopes must be sent on the following address-

BCECE 2017 Application Form Enclosures

Candidates need to send the following documents as the BCECE 2017 Application Form Enclosures-

  • Xerox copy of Mark sheets and Admit Card of I.Sc. or equivalent examination (Admit Card for those candidates who are appearing in qualifying examination)
  • Xerox copy of Matric or equivalent certificate and Admit Card as DOB proof
  • Xerox copy of Caste Certificate
  • Xerox copy of Character Certificate
  • Xerox copy of Income Certificate (if required)
  • Duly filled Application Form A along with photograph pasted over it
  • Self-attested photograph
  • Paid Bank Challan Receipt (if paid by challan)
  • Receipt of Photograph clicked
  • Print out of the online application forms
  • Xerox copy of Domicile Certificate

BCECE 2017 Admit Card

Admit card of BCECE 2017 will not be sent by post. Candidates are requested to download their admit card from the official website. Please verify all the details on the admit card, if any discrepancy found, candidates have to report The Controller of Examination in person at least 5 days before the conduct of examination on working days. BCECE 2017 Admit card is a very important document to carry in the examination hall. Affix the same photograph (same as during online application process) on the space provided. Candidates will not be allowed to enter in the examination hall before the BCECE 2017 admit card.
