AUEET 2017 Exam Pattern

AUEET 2017 exam pattern is described here so that candidates can get a fair idea about the pattern that will be followed in the exam. It is a pen paper based exam. Candidates have to attempt 135 questions in duration of 2 hours.

There is no negative marking in the AUEET 2017 exam. According to the AUEET 2017 marking scheme, 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer and there is no negative marking. The AUEET 2017 will be carried out for admission to the B.Tech program and B.Tech lateral entry program.

It is important that exam code is selected properly for the lateral entry program. Alliance University is offering B.Tech in following disciplines:

  • Computer science and engineering
  • Electronics and communication engineering
  • Electrical and Electronics engineering
  • Information and Technology
  • Mechanical engineering

Candidates must have cleared any state level engineering exam or have appeared for the exam in JEE mains or JEE advanced.  This is one of the important eligibility criteria defined by the team. The AUEET 2017 Exam Pattern in Physics:

The pattern gives highlights about the number of questions, time duration and marking scheme of the section. The details are as follows:

  • A total of 45 question are there in physics.
  • It is the part 1 of the AUEET 2017 exam.
  • 53 minutes to complete the physics section.
  • 1.43 minutes are allotted to each question.
  • Class 11 and class 12 questions will be used to design the question paper.

The AUEET 2017 Exam Pattern in Chemistry:

The syllabus defined in JEE main which is same as class 11 and 12 syllabi is used for forming the exam paper. The highlights of paper are as follows:

  • This is a part 2 of the AUEET 2017 exam.
  • There are total of 45 questions in chemistry section.
  • 1.43 minutes can be spent on completing a question
  • The section has to be completed in 53 minutes
  • MCQ based questions.

AUEET 2017 Marking Scheme:

The AUEET 2017 marking scheme is same for physics, chemistry and mathematics section. All the three sections are MCQ based. The details of the marking scheme are as follows:

  • For every correct answer 1 mark is awarded.
  • There is no negative marking.
  • Un-attempted questions will not fetch you any marks and there is no loss of marks because of them.
  • This is a pen paper based exam so make sure to color the bubbles properly.

AUEET 2017 General Guidelines

  • AUEET 2017 admissions will be carried out through AUEET 2017 exam for all the respective process.
  • Admission will be carried out through AUEET 2017 exam and no middle man will be involved in the admission process.
  • The separate exam will be carried out for admission to the post graduate and under graduate exams.
  • Applications can be filled in the online or offline mode.
  • As per the AUEET 2017 eligibility criteria, for admission to the B.Tech regular program candidates must have cleared class 12 examination with 45% marks. The main subjects are physics and mathematics. The third subject can be chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
  • As per the AUEET 2017 eligibility criteria, for admission in B.Tech program through lateral entry, the candidate must have completed at least 1 year diploma with 40% marks. 
  • When filling the choice for B.Tech, the candidate has to select the option of B.Tech (full time) or B.Tech lateral entry carefully. The exam codes are different for these exams.
  • Application process starts in the month of November 2017 and will end in January 2018.
  • Application form must be supported with attested copies of Class 10 & 12 mark sheets.  Additionally, candidate must submit a copy of JEE (Main)/ JEE (advanced)/ Karnataka CET/ COMEDK score card copy.
  • Application fee of Rs.1000 has to be paid by all Indian nationals. Students living in SAARC nations / NRI (Non- Resident Indians)/ foreign nationals have to pay an application fee of Rs.2000.
  • There are two stages of AUEET 2017 admission process. At stage 1 candidate has to appear for the AUEET 2017 exam and at stage 2 candidates has to appear for personal interview.
