Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET-2017) is conducted annually by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam for admission to firstyear MBA and MCA courses offered in Universities and Professional colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2017-18.
APICET 2017 Result will tentatively be declared by the end of May 2017. AIPCET 2017 Exam will be held in the 3rd week of May. The result will be based on the marks scored by the candidate in the entrance test.
Candidates have to visit the official website to check their APICET 2017 Result and Rank. After the declaration of result the shortlisted candidates will be called for APICET 2017 Counselling Process.

The Result of APICET 2017 will be declared in the last week of May, 2017. To check their results, candidates have to follow the steps given below:
A rank card is important because it will be used as a proof of marks and rank during candidate’s admission to MBA and MCA Course. After the results of APICET 2017 are declared, candidates can download/ print their APICET 2017 Rank Card as well. They have to follow the steps given below:
The APICET 2017 Rank card will have important information of the Candidate. This information will be crucial during admission and will be used a proof of APICET Exam taken by the candidate. The rank card will be used for admission into MBA/MCA Courseof all Andhra Pradesh State Universities andProfessional Colleges in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2017-2018 only. The information of the Rank Card will as follows:
In order to clear the APICET 2017 Exam, candidates must have the qualifying percentage of marks which is 25%. That means the applicants must score 50 marks out of the 200 marks total marks, if they want to clear APICET 2017 exam.
In order to secure top ranks, candidates aim for 80% to 90% in the exam. Hence, the students must score between130-150 marks or higher out of 200 in order to be placed within top ten ranks.
Candidates who belong to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes have no minimum qualifying percentage of marks to clear the exam.
The ranking of the Candidate appearing for APICET 2017 is based on their merit marks in APICET. In doing so, it is possible that the score of two or more candidates might end up in tie. To avoid such a situation, following tie-breaker methods will be used:
Though extreme care and caution will be taken into account while calculating marks and preparing the merit list. However, if the candidate still feels they need to get their score re-evaluated, they can do so.
The OMR Sheet of the Candidate who has appeared in APICET 2017 will be preserved for 6 months from the date of announcement of result. This is done to fulfil the request for re-evaluation and checking the marks of the candidate at the time of admission.
Candidates who wish to get a re-evaluation done have to draw a demand draft of Rs. 1,000/- in favour of the Convener, APICET – 2017, payable at Andhra University,Visakhapatnam on any Nationalized Bank.
Candidates have to submit application for re-evaluation within 15 days after the result is declared. If the request for re-evaluation is sent after 15 days, then it will not be entertained.
