AP PGECET 2017 RESULT & COUNSELLING
STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
AP PGECET 2017 results will be declared on June 10, 2017. The exam will be held from May 25, 2017 to May 27, 2017. AP PGECET 2017 or Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada for admission in the M. Tech/ M.E programmes in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
AP PGECET 2017 Merit List will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying examination. Only those candidates who are able to score above the minimum cut off marks will be called for the counselling process.

Candidates who have qualified the GATE will have to apply separately and they will also be given preference during the counselling and seat allotment stages of the admission process. They are exempted from taking the AP PGECET 2017 and hence, they need not follow the process of AP PGECET 2017 result checking etc.

The AP PGECET 2017 Result will be for the respective branch that the candidate had appeared for. The AP PGECET 2017 Rank Card will be available separately on the home page. Candidates will be required to download the AP PGECET 2017 Rank Card separately for use at the counselling and seat allotment stages.
The AP PGECET Result 2017 will be used to determine the merit for the seat allotment in AP PGECET Counselling.
It must be noted that the GATE qualified candidates will be given preference during the counselling and seat allotment process over the AP PGECET 2017 candidates. But the GATE qualified candidates must have applied as per the procedure and deadlines to be called for the counselling process.
AP PGECET 2017 will be conducted for 13 papers for the various M. Tech courses offered in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The answer keys to the AP PGECET 2017 test paper will be made available for the candidates after the examination is over.

The AP PGECET 2017 Rank Card will contain the details of the AP PGECET 2017 result of the candidates and will have to be submitted during the counselling process and subsequent admission to the M. Tech. courses offered in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Candidates should take out two copies of the AP PGECET 2017 Rank Card on A4 size paper as the AP PGECET 2017 Rank Card is an important document that will have to be submitted compulsorily during the counselling process for final seat allocation.
The Cut off of AP PGECET 2017 is the minimum score required to secure admission in the various M. Tech courses in Andhra Pradesh.
It must be noted that the cut off for AP PGECET 2017 depends on a lot of factors such as the number of applicants, the number of seats available, the previous year cut off marks, and the difficulty levels of the entrance test.
The Cut off for AP PGECET 2017 for qualifying in the entrance test is different from the AP PGECET Cut off 2017 that will be used for admissions.
The AP PGECET 2017 Cut off for qualifying the exam is 25% of the total marks i.e., 30 marks. This is not applicable to the SC/ ST candidates. However, this cut off is merely for qualifying the test and the cut off for admission will be different and higher, which will depend on the overall result.
The Cut off for AP PGECET 2017 admissions will be announced prior to the AP PGECET 2017 Counselling.
It is also important to note that the AP PGECET 2017 cut off will be different for the GATE qualified candidates and the AP PGECET 2017 qualified candidates. The AP PGECET 2017 Cut off will also vary from course to course and from institute to institute.
