AP EAMCET Result

AP EAMCET Result has been announced on the official website. The candidates can download their Rank Card from the official website. The rank will be chosen on the basis of the score got by the applicants in their examination.The board will direct the AP EAMCET online counselling system which will incorporate the documents confirmation, choice / option entry and seat allotment. The counselling will be begun in the third week of June 2016.

Steps to check AP EAMCET Result are given below:-

  1. Visit the official website
  2. Enter your Hall Ticket number
  3. Click on the 'Submit' button
  4. The results will be displayed on your screen
  5. Take a print out of the Rank Card for future reference

AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test) 2016 directed by the JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University), Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) furthermore, is a state level examination and that was held in separate Telangana state for the year 2016.


AP EAMCET OMR Sheet

The AP EAMCET 2016 Engineering OMR answer sheets are available for download from May 18, 2016 till May 23, 2016. Applicants can download their OMR Answer sheet from the official site by entering their EAMCET 2016 Hall Ticket number, SSC Hall Ticket number, Mobile number and Date of Birth.The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) 2016 positions will be valid for admission for the scholarly session starting 2016-2017 as it were.

A candidate can download AP EAMCET OMR Answer sheet maximum of 3 times only. 


AP EAMCET Result

Applicants can check Andhra Pradesh state EAMCET result at the website apeamcet.org by signing in using the hall ticket number. The rank showed in EAMCET Result 2016 is determined by giving 75% weightage to marks scored in the Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test, and 25% weightage to combine subject marks in qualifying examination.

Declaration of AP EAMCET Result (AP)

  1. Only those applicants who score no less than 25% of the maximum marks of the exam will be considered for ranking/ positioning. Cut off does not apply to SC/ST applicants.
  2. The exam directing body will assess OMR answer sheets of competitors and give marks for right answers.
  3. Applicants who qualify the exam will be considered for merit ranking for EAMCET Result.
  4. Marks got in the qualifying examination will be considered for every qualified applicant. Total score will be ascertained on the basis of following: 75% weightage to EAMCET score and 25% weightage to qualifying exam score.


AP EAMCET Rank Card

Rank Card includes applicant's name, address, enrollment number, application number, hall ticket number, category, gender along with marks got in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology. The rank card mentions 75% weightage equal marks, 25% weightage equivalent marks, consolidated score, rank.

AP EAMCET 2016 Result

The rank card issued for EAMCET 2016 Result will be valid for admission only for year 2016-2017.

Tie Breaker in AP EAMCET

The merit list is set up on a consolidated score obtained by giving 75 percent weightage to the marks secured in AP EAMCET and 25 percent weightage to the marks obtained in the combined/ group subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry of the qualifying examination.

Tie breaker method for students securing same scores:

  • The aggregate marks obtained in AP EAMCET 2016
  • The Scores secured in science in AP EAMCET 2016
  • The Scores secured in Physics in AP EAMCET 2016
  • The Percentage of Aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examination
  • If the tie still holds on, the older (in view of date of birth) being given inclination over the younger.

The weightage of marks, in case of applicants belongs to the category of Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders, will be chosen by a board constituted by the capable power or competent authority.

Competitors can see their aggregate scores and their rank got by entering their Hall Ticket number. Positions will only be given to general class applicants having secured at least the qualifying scores and to SC/ST competitors.


AP EAMCET Eligibility for Engineering

According to G.O.Ms.No 73 of Higher Education(EC.2) Department, dated 28-07-2011, the applicants who have secured qualifying scores in AP EAMCET-2016 and competitors from the category of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe, for whom qualifying marks have not been mentioned, might be ranked in the order of merit list on the basis of combined marks acquired by giving 75% weightage to the scores secured in AP EAMCET-2016 and 25% weightage to the scores secured in the relevant group of subjects to be specific Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.

For the making of merit list, if more than one student getting the same combined score acquired as specified over, the tie can be break to choose the relative ranking by progressively considering the below mentioned points:

  • The aggregate marks secured in AP EAMCET-2016
  • The aggregate scores in Mathematics in AP EAMCET-2016
  • The scores secured in Physics in AP EAMCET-2016
  • The rate of total scores secured in the qualifying examination
  • If the tie still holds on, the older (taking into account date of birth) will be given preference over the younger.

Instructions for filling AP EAMCET OMR Sheet

  1. Hall ticket number, Name of the Candidate, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Test Centre Code & Name, Date of Birth, Photograph and Booklet code are mentioned on the OMR Answer Sheet. Make sure that the OMR Answer Sheet given to you has your Name, Photograph and other details. In case of any discrepancy, the OMR Answer Sheet should be taken to the Invigilator. If the information is not printed properly or wrongly, the Candidate will be given Buffer OMR Answer Sheet, in which candidate is required to fill all the required information in the appropriate columns.
  2. If the OMR Answer Sheet is damaged, spoiled or misprinted, candidates must return it to the Invigilator and ask for a Buffer OMR Answer Sheet, in which applicant must fill all the relevant information in appropriate columns.
  3. Before answering the questions, candidate must write Booklet Number in the space provided. The appropriate circles must be darkened for the Category, Booklet Code and Booklet Number.

Notes:

  • Question Paper Booklet code will already be mentioned on the OMR Answer Sheet.
  • Do check and verify whether the Question Paper Booklet code given to you is same as mentioned on the OMR Answer Sheet.
  • If the applicant fails to darken the right Booklet Code or leaves it blank in any case, the OMR Answer Sheet might be getting rejected.
  1. Sign on the space provided in the OMR Answer Sheet, and do make sure that the Invigilator signs on the space provided for them.
  2. OMR Answer Sheet will be machine graded and is processed by electronic mode which is Computers and Scanners. Answer sheet will be considered Invalid if it is incomplete/ incorrect filling of Answer Sheet, it will be the sole responsibility of the applicant.
  3. Applicant should use Black/ Blue Ball Point Pen to darken the circles. No other pens with different colours are allowed. Plus do not use Pencil or Ink/ gel pen.
  4. Writing or marking outside the allocated or demarcated areas on the OMR Answer Sheet, it will invalidate the OMR Answer Sheet. Candidate should not scribble or write anything irrelevant on this OMR Answer Sheet. Neither fold, tear, wrinkle nor staple this OMR Answer Sheet.
  5. Changing an answer on this OMR Answer Sheet is NOT ALLOWED
  • When marking an answer choose the BEST alternative answer from the four options mentioned below the questions and darken the same response in the corresponding circle in the OMR Answer Sheet.
  • Don’t shade more than one option for a question.
  • Changing the response is not allowed, so before marking an answer the candidate must satisfy themselves about the accuracy of the answer.
  • The OMR Answer Sheets are machine gradable so the candidate is not allowed to use white fluid or eraser as it may lead to invalidation.
  1. Before leaving the exam hall, the candidate must return the OMR Answer Sheet to the invigilator.
  2. In case there is any non-clarity in darkening the circle, the committee's decision is final.
  3. If the applicant do not follow the above mentioned instructions, the OMR Answer Sheet is liable to get REJECTED.
