As the competition is high, the difficulty level of examination is a relatively high too. Last year, the students claimed that the physics section was the toughest while Biology and general knowledge section were easier. It was suggested that overall the paper was tough. Some students said that most of the questions in Physics and Chemistry were reason-assertion based and thus were quite difficult to solve for them and required a lot of time. In Physics, the important topic of Modern Physics, had the most difficult questions and thus, they were unable to even touch those numerical based questions. It was observed, that the Biology and General Knowledge were easier than the other sections of the paper.
All the candidates suggested that Physics section was a lot hard-hitting and every question they needed to make a lot of notes to solve all the numerical based questions in the paper. Somehow, some students still managed to attempt good enough questions in the Physics sections as well because of their enough practicing of mock tests and sample papers. They also suggested that there was no technical problem while attempting the exam as such. They explained that an in-depth knowledge of all the three basic subjects is quite essential in order to clear for the examination and those who had prepared all the basics well were able to answer the questions easily.
