AFCAT 2018 Admit Card

AFCAT 2018 Admit Card will be released in the second week of February 2018 for the first session. Candidates who have successfully registered for AFCAT 2018 will be issued admit cards by the Indian Air Force (IAF). They can access AFCAT 2018 Admit Card by downloading it from the website www.careerairforce.nic.in .

  • IAF will not be responsible to send the hall tickets to any student by post.
  • Individuals can log on to the official website of the entrance exam and enter their Username/ email ID and Password to download the admit card.
  • Each applicant must carry 1 copy of AFCAT 2018 Admit Card which will be verified at the exam center.
  • No student will be permitted to enter the exam venue without their hall ticket.
  • In case there is any discrepancy in AFCAT 2018 Admit Card, the organizing authority should be notified immediately.

AFCAT 2018 is an All India level exam conducted twice every year by the IAF. It is held for recruiting aspirants to various posts offered by the institute.


AFCAT 2018 Important Dates

How to Download AFCAT 2018 Admit Card/ Hall Ticket?

AFCAT 2018 Admit Card is an enabling document which shows the candidature and assigned roll number of the student. It can be downloaded from the official website of IAF. It should be noted that the governing body will not be responsible to send admit cards to any individual by post.

Individuals who fail to produce their AFCAT 2018 Admit Card at the exam center will not be able to appear for the exam and will be disqualified. They must carry 1 copy of the admit card which will be duly checked and signed by the exam supervisor. AFCAT 2018 Admit Card can be downloaded by following these few easy steps:

  • Log on to the official IAF website.
  • Go to the ‘career’ tab. a link for AFCAT 2018 Admit Card will be displayed in flash news, click on it.
  • Enter login credentials such as Username/ Email ID, Password and security code given on the page that opens.  
  • Admit card will appear in a new tab.
  • Applicants must verify all the details like name, registration number, examination centre, etc. given on the hall ticket.
  • Download the admit card and print a colored copy of it.

Details on AFCAT 2018 Admit Card/ Hall Ticket

Individuals must check the details given on AFCAT 2018 Admit Card before downloading it. They must ensure that the details provided along with the photograph and signature are properly visible. During the examination, the supervisor present at the exam venue will check the details given on the admit card to verify the identity of the student. The admit card will contain following details:

  • Candidate’s Name
  • Father’s name
  • Date and Time of Examination
  • Roll number
  • Registration Number
  • Mailing Address
  • Category
  • PwD Candidate (if applicable)

Discrepancy in AFCAT 2018 Admit Card

Documents required with AFCAT 2018 Admit Card

Applicants must carry 1 copy of AFCAT 2018 Admit Card, 1 passport size photograph (same as that used for registration) and an original identity proof. Individuals should ensure that the details mentioned on the ID proof and hall ticket of the exam are same. They can get any one of the following documents as photo identity proof:

  • Aadhar Card
  • Passport
  • Voter’s ID
  • Driving License
  • PAN Card
  • College ID card

AFCAT 2018 Exam Centers

AFCAT 2018 will be held in more than 40 cities across India. Participants will be given a choice to select the city preferred by them during registration. The final exam centers will be allotted by the system and no request for any changes will be entertained under any circumstance.


Instructions on AFCAT 2018 Admit Card

Applicants must ensure that they follow some general instructions on the day of AFCAT 2018 exam. It is important to know the rules and regulations laid down by IAF. They are also advised to check the requirement of the mandatory documents on the exam day and comply with the same. Some of these instructions are stated as follows:

  • Candidates must report to their designated AFCAT 2018 center 30 to 45 minutes prior to the examination time.
  • They must bring a copy of their AFCAT 2018 Admit Card with a passport size photo affixed on it and an original photo identity proof.
  • Items like calculators and log tables, slide rulers, docupen, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, paper chits, mobile phones or pagers will not be permitted in the exam hall.
  • Aspirants must not modify or tamper with any details given on the admit card.
  • They can approach the IO/ SIO in the room for any technical assistance or information regarding the exam.
  • Participants will be forbidden from leaving the exam hall until the entire period of exam is concluded.
  • AFCAT 2018 Admit Card duly signed by the invigilator should be preserved and submitted at the AFSB interview.
