ACLAT 2018 Application Form

ACLAT 2018 Application forms will be available from the 4th week of June 2018 for all courses. Candidates interested to appear for the entrance examination that will be held in July 2018 must apply for the exam.

  • ACLAT 2018 Registration and application process will be conducted through both the online and offline mode.
  • Students must go through the information brochure uploaded on the official website www.law.alliance.edu.in to know the eligibility criteria and other updates.
  • ACLAT 2018 Application process is broadly divided into 4 main steps.
  • Applicants will be required to register for the exam by filling up general details in the 1st step.
  • Once registered, candidates can fill up ACLAT 2018 application form by providing personal details, information about academic qualification and uploading the necessary documents.
  • Students must then pay the requisite fees of INR 1000 for all UG and PG courses and INR 3000 for all Doctorate fields of study after successfully applying for the exam.
  • Once the payment is successful, they must send a hardcopy of the application form to the university along with certain documents.
  • Alliance University will process only those forms that are complete in every sense and for which the application fees have been paid.

ACLAT 2018 (Alliance University Common Law Admission Test) will be conducted by Alliance School of Law in July 2018. It is held for students seeking admission into various UG, PG and PhD law programs offered by the university.

ACLAT 2018  Eligibility

ACLAT 2018 eligibility criterion is as set up by the university. Only those students who meet the eligibility requirements should apply for the test. The various criteria are as stated below:

Nationality: Citizens of India as well as applicants of foreign origin can apply for the entrance test. Foreign nationals should ensure that they meet the academic eligibility criteria to be admitted into the law courses offered by the university.

Age Limit: The upper age limit for PG and Doctorate courses is not prescribed by the university. However, the age requirements for UG courses is given below-

  • B.A.LLB and B.B.A.LLB- The upper age limit for these courses is 20 years for the General category (22 years for SC/ ST and Backward Communities).

Education Qualification

B.A.LLB and B.B.A.LLB

  • Students should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board and secure a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying exam (40% marks for SC/ST candidates).

LLM

  • Candidates must have LLB, B.L. or any other graduate degree in Law recognized by Bar Council of India with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).

PhD in Law

  • Applicants must have a Master’s Degree (LLM) in any branch with a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate from a recognized university.

How to fill ACLAT 2018 Application form?

ACLAT 2018 Application forms will be available on the official website www.law.alliance.edu.in and at the university office. Application Forms can be submitted through the online and offline mode. Candidates can obtain ACLAT 2018 application forms and prospectus from the Office of Admissions, Alliance University by paying the requisite application fees via cash or Demand Draft.

ACLAT 2018 application process comprises of 4 main steps- Registration, Filling of Application Form, Payment of Fees and Submitting the Application form.

Pre-requisites for filling ACLAT 2018 Application Form-

  • A valid mobile number and email ID for the purpose of registration
  • Scanned images of Photograph.

Students can refer to the guidelines that are mentioned below to fill the ACLAT 2018 application form online:

Step 1: Registration

  • Log on to the official website of the university and click on the tab of ‘Admissions’ to begin the online registration process.
  • Individuals will have to provide their name, valid email address and mobile number for the purpose of registration. Click on ‘Submit’
  • They must enter the correct email address as an email will be sent by the university to validate it.
  • Candidates will receive an email at their registered email IDs which will contain a computer generated application ID and password.
  • Aspirants must use this unique ID and password as login credentials on the applicant’s login page to complete other steps.

Step 2: Filling of ACLAT 2018 Application Form

  • Students must login using the application ID and password provided to them.
  • ACLAT 2018 application form will appear on the screen. Participants must fill up personal details (name, gender, date of birth, religion, etc.), qualification details and communication details (address, email ID and mobile number).
  • Aspirants will also be required to choose their preferred course and a city preferred by them for the personal interview.
  • They will have to upload a scanned image of their recent, passport-sized photograph. The size of the file should be less than 1 MB and should be of .png, .gif, .jpg or .jpeg format. The dimensions of the image should be 400x400 and 2048x2048 pixels.
  • Read the declaration and accept the terms. Click on ‘Save’ to proceed.
  • The filled in application form will appear. Applicants will have a chance to correct any information. Click on ‘Proceed to Payment’.

Step 3: Payment of Application Fees

  • All students must pay the non-refundable application fees of ACLAT 2018. The fees can be paid through the online mode only. Individuals can pay the fees using Debit/ Credit card or Net Banking.
  • They will be required to enter the necessary payment details on the bank page, save the receipt of transaction and print it out.
  • After all the above steps are completed, a confirmation page will be generated. Participants must take a print out of this page which should be submitted to the university.

Step 4: Submitting the ACLAT 2018 Application form

  • The confirmation page of the application form must be submitted at the university in person or by post.
  • Candidates will also have to send certain documents along with the hardcopy of the application form.

How to retrieve ACLAT 2018 Password?

Students will be allotted an application number for ACLAT 2018 during the registration and application process. If a student forgets his password, then the steps involved in retrieving it are given below:

  • Log on to the registered candidate’s login page and enter your registered application number.
  • Click on ‘Request a new Password’.
  • Candidates will be required to enter their application number and registered email ID.
  • A new password will be generated which will be sent to aspirants by email.

FAQs

Q. Can the ACLAT 2018 application be cancelled and a request for a refund generated after the submission of the requisite application fees?

A. NO. Students should note that the application fees once paid are non refundable and non transferable.

Q. Are individuals required to send a hard copy of the application form by post to the Alliance University? Do they have to attach any other documents along with it?

A. YES. Applicants will have to send the application form and the necessary documents by post to the authority regardless of the fact that the form has been filled online or offline.

Q. Mark memo/ Final result of qualifying examination is not available due to delay in publication of result. Is such a candidate eligible for ACLAT 2018?

A. YES. Aspirants awaiting their result are eligible for the exam provided they can submit the mark sheet at reporting centre of Alliance University during admission.
