NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST

ACLAT 2018

ACLAT (Alliance University Common Law Admission Test) is conducted by Alliance School of Law conducted in the 3rd week of May every year for admissions to various undergraduate law courses in the University.

  • 10+2 pass with at least 45% aggregate candidates are eligible to appear for the test. Candidate should be at least 20 years of age.
  • Applications for the test can be submitted in online as well as offline mode.
  • Both the application form and fee can be submitted online, through its official website or in person to the admission office of the University.
  • ACLAT 2018 Admit Card will be available from 2nd week of May on the official website of Alliance School of Law, http://alliance.edu.in/
  • ACLAT is held across 9 exam centers in the country to make it more accessible for the candidates.
  • Paper for ACLAT 2018 will be divided into 5 parts namely Language Proficiency, General Awareness, Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning & Analytical Ability, and Numerical Ability.
  • There are 200 objective type questions. Every correct response is given 1 mark and a negative marking of 0.5 marks is done for every wrong answer.
  • Duration of the exam is 2 hours.
  • Results are announced in the form of Merit List. Candidates can check the same by providing their date of birth and registration number.

ACLAT 2018 Counseling is held at various cities across different centers of the shortlisted candidates. Personal Interview is tentatively scheduled in 2nd week of June for selected candidates.

ACLAT 2018 ELIGIBILITY

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria in order to get admission through ACLAT 2018. Candidature will stand canceled at any stage if the candidate is found flouting the eligibility norms. The eligibility criteria for ACLAT 2018 is mentioned below:

AGE LIMIT

  • General Category candidates must not be more than 20 years of age at the time of admission
  • Reserved Category Students including ST/SC/Backward classes, relaxation up to 2 years has been provided. They should not be more than 22 years at the time of admission.

NUMBERS OF ATTEMPTS/RESIDENTIAL CRITERIA- There are no boundaries for the residence or number of attempts a candidate can make, set by the university to give ACLAT 2018.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination from any school/Institute/university as recognized under state or national board of education.
  • Candidate must have scored at least 45% marks in aggregate. Reserved category candidates including SC/ST must have 40% in aggregate.
  • Candidates having valid score of any of the following National Level Exam-
  1. CLAT- At least 100 score
  2. LSAT INDIA/LSAT- At least 65 score
  3. ACLAT- qualified Alliance Common Law Admission Test

ACLAT 2018 APPLICATION Form

Candidates can fill ACLAT 2018 Application Form online as well as offline both. Application form is available on the official website of Alliance University. The process is expected to begin in the May 1st week 2018. Following are the steps to fill the application form:

ONLINE MODE

  • Log onto the official website of Alliance University http://alliance.edu.in/
  • Click on the official link of Alliance University Application Form 2018
  • Enter basic details like Date of Birth, Phone number, other personal details, email ID to complete registration
  • Fill up the application form providing your details as asked in the form. You need to provide details like-
  • Candidates Name
  • Parents details
  • Address and Phone Number
  • Academic Qualification
  • Course Details
  • Aadhar Card Number
  • Upload the following documents along with the form
  • Scanned copy of colored photograph in 3.5x4.5 cm
  • Scanned copy of colored Signature 3.5x4.5 cm
  • Attested 10th class mark sheet
  • Attested 12th class mark sheet
  • Scanned copies should not be more than 2mb and are allowed in JPEG, JPG, PNG, and PDF format.
  • Pay the requisite amount through net banking using debit or credit card.
  • Go through your form once and after you are done with the payment, click on submit button.

OFFLINE MODE

  • Log on to the official website of Alliance University i.e., http://alliance.edu.in/
  • Click on the official link for Alliance University Application Form 2018.
  • Download the form from the website and take a print out of it.
  • Fill the form with all the details asked which includes-

ACLAT 2018 APPLICATION FEE

ACLAT 2018 Application fee can be paid online using net banking as well as offline mode in person or with a bank challan. Steps to remit the fee are as follows:

  • Details of payment mode appear on the screen as you complete the application form.
  • Click on the PAY ONLINE button which appears on the screen 
  • Select your payment options and pay accordingly.
  • Pay using a Demand Draft also in favor of Alliance University payable at Bangalore.
  • Fee payment can also be done in person at the office while submitting the form in person.

ACLAT 2018 ADMIT CARD

ACLAT 2018 Admit cards for all the received applications will be processed and published online on the official website of Alliance University. It is a very important document to carry to the examination center. Failing to show the hall ticket to the invigilator will cause debarment of candidates from appearing in the exam.

ACLAT 2018 EXAM PATTERN

ACLAT 2018 will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based test). Candidates should go through the detailed ACLAT 2018 Exam Pattern to understand the pattern of questions and weightage of important topics.

  • Entrance test consists of 200 objective type questions
  • There are 2 hours provided to complete the test.
  • Each question is awarded 1 mark. 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.

ACLAT 2018 RESULTS

Alliance University is expected to announce results for ACLAT 2018 in the 1st week of June. The result will be published in the form of merit list containing marks scored by the candidates. The list is released on the official website of Alliance for reference. Check the steps below to know the result of candidates.

  • Click on the ACLAT 2018 link on the website.
  • Click on the RESULTS option available.
  • Fill in your Registration Number and Date of Birth to access your score card.
  • Download it and keep it for future reference.

ACLAT 2018 COUNSELLING

After the results are announced, candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance test are called for the counselling process. The counselling process is conducted in offline mode. Shortlisted candidates are required to appear for counselling and interview in order of their ranks.

All the selected candidates must reach the allotted venue on the stipulated time for counseling and subsequent rounds of admission process. Counseling for the session 2018 will start from 2nd week of June. It consists of an Interview round through which candidates get admission in various courses depending upon their score and Interview performance.
